On The Change Of Research Methods Of Chinese Buddhist Prāmānaya-vāda And Hetu-vidyāover The Past 100 Years

French philosopher Descartes believed that the method is absolutely essential to the search for the truth of things. It’s no doubt that the core of any subject is both as research tools and "methodology". The method one chooses inevitably determines the order of the research. For the research of Chinese Buddhist prāmānaya-vāda and hetu-vidyā, which is over a hundred years, if you want to construct a universal cognitive system of human logic to face future, to open up new research results and state to face international academic perspective,and to go out of the way of "imitation",the method on the study of the importance and necessity is self-evident.In this paper, the research of a-hundred-year Han(Buddhism) hetu-vidyā began with 1896. The research of a- hundred-year Tibetan Buddhism prāmānaya-vāda started from the 13 th Dalai Lama’s going back to Tibet in 1912. Tibetan Buddhist theory and Chinese Buddhism logic,as two core composition of Chinese Buddhist prāmānaya-vāda and hetu-vidyā, although there is a span at the starting point of time,it does not affect the common constitution of the Chinese Buddhist prāmānaya-vāda and hetu-vidyā research for over a hundred years. Over a hundred years, there were three methodological turn in the research of Chinese Buddhist prāmānaya-vāda and hetu-vidyā.
