The Study Of The Chinese Gratitude Language In The Time Before Weijin Dynasty

This paper means to collect Chinese gratitude terms from conversations,which is used in the the time before Weijin Dynasty,and then analysis each terms from four aspects:Chinese gratitude terms’ types, Sentence functions’ types,Topics and Social occasions trying to find the characters of Gratitude words in different times,finally try to supplyment the Chinese gratitude terms database.After searching from 95 books,we mainly finds 267 Chinese gratitude terms in three times:Shang Zhou times(SZ),Chunqiuzhanguo and Qin Dynasty(CQ)and Liang Han Dynasty(LH).Through analysis we get six conclusions:1.There is no Signal Word of stating gratitude fact until CQ and LH,which is“赖”、“蒙”、“幸”、“恩”、“诚蒙”、“幸蒙”、“赖蒙”、“猥蒙”、“俱蒙”and“幸赖”;2.The main Gratitude words for SZ is“对扬”,and for CQ is“拜”and“德”,and for LH is“谢”including“谨谢”;3.The main Chinese gratitude terms’types for SZ is“Praise”,but for CQ and LH is“Compensation”and“stating the grateful fact”;4.The main Sentence functions’type for SZ is interjectional sentence,but for CQ and LH is affirmative sentence;5.In the time before Weijin Dynasty the main topics are“helping with the career””helping with the spirit”and“directly gratitude with words”;6.On the whole,the Functions’types is not affected by the Social occasions so much.
