Wenxuan edited by Xiao Tong, the prince of Liang, is the earliest existing collection of poems and essays, which selects the representative writers and works of different ages. With an enduring popularity, Wenxuan have not only provided writing models for the later literary creation, but also provided important research materials for the later researchers.Argumentation Prose is a popular literary form in ancient China, which is also the most literary form selected by Wenxuan in its essay section.From the perspective of literary genre of Wenxuan, the concept of the literary genre becomes more system. Wenxuan divides the argumentation prose into Shelun(refers to a special literary genre by means of which intellects in Han Dynasty wrote), shilun and lun, which is caused by both the development of the literary genre and the personal idea of literary of the writer.In terms of article science, the treatises articles selected by Wen xuan, included ending historical treatises of history biography, political comments and other scholars criticism of social problem.
