This paper probes into the investigation of Jembatan Budaya National Plus School’s Mandarin Teaching situation through the retrospect of the historical and current situation of Indonesians’ Mandarin Teaching. It aims at knowing and teasing out the historical and current situation of Mandarin Teaching for the recently ten years since Jembatan Budaya School was funded in July,2004. This is a significant moment for Jembatan Budaya School. Therefore, it is necessary for the author to draw a conclusion about the achievements and record the footprints of its development during the past ten years. In this article, the author uses several methods, such as documentation, questionnaires, interview, mathematical statistics and logic analysis,to collect materials, process data and finally finish the article. During the one year internship, as a volunteer of Chinese language teacher in this school from July,2014 to July 2015, the author learns more about Mr.Jiang Lianfu in detail, the founder of Jembatan Budaya School, as well as its history. Then the author teased out the statistics of its history. Moreover, the author also makes a deep investigation of the shcool’s Mandarin Teaching situation, which includes the information of Mandarin teachers, the students,Mandarin curriculum,teaching method and its effect in Mandarin class,etc. Furthermore, the author makes a comparison between Chinese learning and English learning among the students in order to find out the differences and similarities between them. And then find the problems about the students’ different attitude towards Mandarin teachers and English teachers. Finally, the author provides some solutions. The author hopes that she can summarize the situation of Mandarin Teaching in the past ten years through these investigations, meanwhile,provide some constructive and feasible suggestions. Last, she hopes to make a contribution to the development of Mandarin Teaching of Jembatan Budaya Shool.
