Analysis Of Aesthetic Demand Of Zheng From Taoistic Xujing Theory And Nietzsche’s Nihilism

The art of the ancient zheng can be researched deeply in the fields of the works’ styles, performance skills, schools’ characteristic, cultural accumulation and so on, with its long history. Considering that the performance skills and the art aesthetic of the ancient zheng are usually the importance of its research, this thesis established in aesthetic, the writer analyzed the performance of the zheng with aesthetic theories of Taoistic Xu Jing theory and Nietzsche’s Nihilism. Both the two theories are surreal and non utilitarian, for the Taoism pursued the state of the extremely peace and silence,which is accordance with the pure and objective views of Nietzsche’s Nihilism partly. Both of them pursued the most free state after breaking the highest value. Through the analysis of the combination of the two aesthetic theories and the art of the ancient zheng, this thesis focused on the embodiment of the Taoistic Xu Jing theory and Nietzsche’s Nihilism in the content of the zheng’s works and the elements and the state of the performance, so as to analyze the practical introduction of performance which the two aesthetic theories has provided.The thesis is aimed at giving a new point of view for appreciating the art of the zheng throughout the research of the combination of the Taoistic Xu Jing theory and Nietzsche’s Nihilism. At the same time, the thesis analyzed the specific performance skills of the zheng, in the hope of giving the writer’s own viewpoint of the aesthetic value and the practical performance skills of the ancient zheng.
