Ling grid drawing, which is regarded as the most wonderful part of Qiuci grottoes murals art, has ever aroused widespread attention of experts and scholars from home and abroad. Influenced by multiculture, Ling grid drawing developed and evolved all the way in the process of its formation, as a result, the mutual correspondence between decorating language and grottoes improved the elegance and charm of murals and bring the audience visual beauty. Ling grid drawing, as the typical works of traditional decorating paintings, has conveyed the rule of formal beauty such as contrast and unity, rhythm and rhymes and expressed ancient artists’ appreciation for beauty and their consideration for decorating art. Therefore, it is necessary for us to study this topic to carry forward and develop Chinese traditional art.This thesis uses the forms of Qiuci grottoes murals art as its basic point. The first chapter, as the introduction part, gives a general description for the study background, purpose, significance, innovative point, structure and methods of this thesis. The second chapter describes the related backgrounds of the formation of Qiuci grottoes murals decorating art to pave the way to introduce the social and geographical backgrounds where Qiuci Ling grid drawing is set, which lays foundation for further study. The third chapter makes deep and detailed analysis and study for the reasons why Ling grid drawing appeared as well as this main decoration subject. The forth chapter bases its analysis of the decorating quality on its discussion on such aspects as the composition of the picture, profiling, choice of color of Ling grid drawing. The fifth chapter elaborates the artistic features of decorating paintings and search for things of present decorating paintings that are similar to Ling grid drawing in technique. Based on the study on Qiuci Ling grid drawing in the passage above, the author concludes aesthetic thoughts and feelings in modern design that Ling grid drawing presents.The main fruit of this thesis is that it makes systematic categories and narration of the artistic forms of Qiuci Ling grid drawing, because the author thinks that it may compensate for lack of study in the field of Ling grid drawing. More importantly, the offspring can apply the study outcome to practical creation in that study on traditional decorating art can provide inspiration and enlightenment for the design and creation of decorating paintings along with a kind of new reference and subject. It is certain that this represents inheritage and innovation for traditional culture. Based on relative documents that retrieved in an all-around way, the author reorganize the decorating features of Ling grid drawings carefully with reference to the way in which the image is described. The author also analyzes the local artistic features that formed during the process of developing and the profiling and formats influenced by multiculture. Furthermore, the author focuses on the decorating subject and formal features of Ling grid drawings, including subject like history, psychology of religion, aesthetics, design, morphology, in the hope that this study can broaden people’s horizon and improve the depth of their knowledge for Ling grid drawing so that they can try searching to study this kind of special visual art. |
