| In 1920’s, core ideologies of left-wing criticism discourse, namely the class nature, the political nature and the implemental nature, were proposed and gained preliminary development in its construction in the next decade. Yan’an Rectification Movement provided an opportunity for the close unification between left-wing criticism discourse and politics, which not only reconstructed criticism ideologies and critics, but also provided clear guidelines in criticism. As left-wing criticism discourse became more main-stream and official, its core ideologies had been purified. As a result, it gradually lost its original criticism vigor, only to wither away. After the Cultural Revolution it didn’t gain revitalization but were sent into exile, becoming a kind of literature resource studied by researchers. Its gains and losses during development provides references and warnings for this thesis in clarifying the evolvement of left-wing criticism discourse. |
