Khaled Hosseini, whose relatively objective statement made it possible for the westerners to re-examine Afghanistan, corrected demonized images of Afghanistan appropriately, so as to achieve communication and understanding between eastern and western cultures. His writing is of the vital significance to analyze opposition and conflict between the east and west in politics, religion and culture.
