A Gloss Study Of The Font In "HanShuNote"

Han Shu is an important biographical periodic book in our country. The“Han Shu Note” by Yan Shi Gu is the best annotated. As historical and gloss of it set remarkable accomplishments, there are a number of scholars among ancient and modern,as well as domestic and overseas have done quite a lot of researches about it,but little specially study in the gloss of the font in Han Shu Note. This article took some gloss materials of the font in Han Shu Note as research objects and from the following several aspects such as the character pattern in Gu Jin Zi and homologous words, the expression of echoism glyph, meaning from form in associative compound and phonogram of Han Shu Note. Using gloss theories and some research methods such as classification, statistic and textual to sorting through the material of gloss in Yan Shi Gu, and then tracing the source and add and combing some. On this basis we analyse the research value of Han Shu Note by Yan Shi Gu to the Chinese characters and then summarize and assess it’s achievements and contributions.This article discussed the Gu Jinzi in Han Shu Note which include two kinds. Firstly,increasing Chinese character component on the basis of the Gu Jinzi; Secondly,changing Chinese character component on the basis of the Gu Jinzi. This process was the same ad today’s concept of ancient and modern words. The Han Shu Note by Yan Shi Gu contains a lot of homologous words. These exegesis material provided abundant of language materials for us to do the etymological studies. There were many meaning category which were revealed across the pictograph to help us to judge the meaning in sentence and difference the fonts, then to warn readers try to avoid errors in the process of make private copies. By studying, the writer also consider that in the process of languages’ developing, all of the users determine it’s fate、trend and direction.The scholars are certainly played a leading role, howerve the power of it is limited.
