"Tang melody" singing origin of Chu tune, is also called "reciting", "narration ", "chanting", which is the method of China’s traditional classical poetry and recitation, and. accompany with the classical poetry. It shows mainly a kind of singing recitation and has the rhythm of cadence and natural tone that is similar with music. "Tang melody" singing origin of Chu tune, is extremely precious intangible cultural heritage in Chinese culture and is called the quintessence. In recent years, due to the age, health of inheritors and lack of successors, and many others factors, singing, an old culture, has always faced the possibility of losing. Because of this, to study and find the path of inheritance becomes a huge historical and cultural mission.Since 20th century, under the general trend of traditional chanting decay, some scholars are constantly putting forward the ideas of protection and renewal to the chanting which is on the verge of disappearing. But due to the limitation of specific conditions, it has not been accepted by Renaissance effect across the country. Until the 1980s, chanting, the traditional culture, is paid much attention and appeal by literature and history scholars and national musicians again. And this elite and niche culture has gradually went into the vision of academic field.In recent years, especially after starting the protection of intangible cultural heritage of the State, the study has made some achievements. Most of the chanting is based on the dialects, and to be continued by words of mouth. Tang Melody singing of Chu tune is an important branch of Chinese traditional chanting and regional schools.Tang Melody singing of Chu tune has spread in the Hubei and Qichun and was introduced to Nanchang, Jiangxi,is a generality name of method that the previous generation reciting poetry. In 2010, Tang Melody singing of Chu tune has been officially included in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Jiangxi Province. Contemporary successors Mr.ZongJiuqi explained in writing as follows:Chu tune is the mode of reciting poetry that spread in Chu State; it dates back to long times ago, thus, so-called using songs to express words. Chu tune carried over into today through the generations by word of mouth; it has a relatively fixed quaint and beautiful melody, the rhythm’s priorities are controlled by singing freedom -- "Tang Melody "is the sound of Tang dynasty. In ancient poetry, the Five-character Octaves, the Seven-character Octaves, the Antiques, the Long and Short Sentences all have been fully mature and perfect in form; its level and oblique tones is harmonious. It is said that singing has been more norms in Tang Dynasty; the method of cantabile, like singing and like sob all have the basic pattern of litigation."Tang Melody singing and ancient tune involved a similar discipline.
