| The north- migrating Shuhan literati group refers to the literati who had lived in Shuhan and moved to central China after West Jin captured Bashu region as they were forced relocations or appointed officials. Created many excellent works, these literati were an indispensable part of Wei-Jin Literary History. In this article, we studied the historical background, cultural background, works and influence of north-moved Shuhan literati group.This article was divided into three parts including introduction, main body and epilogue. The introduction part mentioned the reasons for this topic selection, defined research scope, summarized the research status and analyzed the problems of previous studies.The main body included the following three chapters:Chapter1 ‘The historical and cultural backgrounds of north- migrating Shuhan literati group ‘ consisted of two sections. The ‘historical background’ section mentioned the different strategies of Western Jin Dynasty towards the emigrants and aborigines of Shuhan and their situation after north migrating. The ‘culture background’ section introduced the literature and culture of Bashu in han dynasty and three kingdoms period, presented the cultural features and differences of the emigrants and aborigines.Chapter2 ‘The literati and their works’ introduced the events of north- migrating Shuhan literati group including Qiao Zhou, Chen Shou, Xi Zheng, Li Mi, etc. We appreciated and analyzed their works, and summed the features of their works as follows: Most of their existing works are practical writings and the literary forms are limited. They inherited the plain and elegant writing styles of Shuhan and their works are strong lyricism.Chapter3 ‘The value and influence of north- migrating Shuhan literati group ‘evaluated the value and influence of the literati’s works. For ‘Three kingdom history’, we evaluated its value as a milestone in the division of history and literature, its enlightenment to the establishment of ‘Biography of Scholars’ and the influence to the creating of three kingdom-based works. For ‘Gu Shi Kao’, we mentioned its influence to the development of historical textual research. For ‘Chen Qing Biao’, we analyzed the loyalty and filial piety notions and life consciousness of Wei-Jin literati of which the article reflected. Besides, we evaluated the position of north- migrating Shuhan literati group in the early Jin’s literary world.The epilogue summarized the whole article and indicated the position of northmigrating Shuhan literati group in Bashu literature and history of Chinese literature. |
