Language and culture are closely connected. When it comes to language, every nation and every culture is distinctively different. Euphemism, which satisfies the essential requirements such as taboo, politeness, concealment and self-protection, is a kind of tactic widely used in our day-to-day life. In order to help students learn Chinese well, euphemism teaching is of vital importance. There are five parts in this passage. The first part is general introduction, which mainly illustrates current situation relating to the application of euphemism and the definition of research object.
