The Research Of Audio-visual Synaesthesia In Paper Picture Books

In china, the animation industry is booming, originality has received more and more attention from the professionals、the creator and the government. Because of the original picture books started later than Europe and the United States,the overall level of the original picture is unsatisfactory in china. Whether the narrative or artistry of picture book are inferior to foreign, unable to get high universal recognition. Therefore, the domestic picture book market is almost occupied by the foreign outstanding picture books. On the basis of retaining the tangibility and visibility of traditional paper book, through researching audio-visual synaesthesia, namely sound association,this paper want to enrich the theory of domestic picture book, enhance the narrative、expressiveness and artistic appeal of domestic original picture book,contribute to the domestic original picture book. This paper mainly adopts the literature research method and case analysis method. First, with the help of literature research method, this paper analyzes the relationship between the form language of paper picture book and audio-visual synaesthesia; Then, through case analysis method, we organize the effect of sound associationin paper picture book and the expression ways of three sound associationelements(Timbre, Volume, Tone) with different form languages in paper picture book;Finally summed up the usage of sound association in paper picture book.
