Discussion To The Production And Research Of Chinese Ethnic Minority In Humanity After 1990

The contemporary documentary in china really originates from the 1990s, both the "TV documentary movement" and the "new documentary movement" rise since then. At the same time, Chinese documentary began to integrate with the international standard, it almost finished the development in that decade which cost the World documentary nearly a hundred years, which is not only the consensus of the documentary researchers, but also personal feeling of documentary film creators.As a big classification of the Chinese documentary, the minority humanities documentary got great development in this period. In the contents it reproduces the minority local customs and practices, culture and history, and records their daily life, social change.This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part, introduction, mainly expounds the understanding of the concept of Chinese minority documentary. The second part introduces the creation thought.The third part, combining my own creation as a documentary film creator, expounds the experiences and feelings during the creation of a humanities independent documentary at Dong Autonomous Region in Guizhou. In practice, I deeply understood that the humanistic spirit is the soul of national minority documentary film creation.
