Talk Performance -Cultural Forms Analysis Of Solo Talk Performance

This paper, through investigation to the related tradition, form, performance contents, art form, etc. of solo talk, analyzes the solo oral performance as a cultural form and thus obtains the significance and value of solo speech on individual creation. Firstly, it summarizes the performance forms of several traditional solo speeches, discusses the identity of performers in solo speech as well as the interaction between performers and the audience, property, site, etc, then expands to the huge transformations of modern and contemporary solo speech in form and pattern, and explores the manifestation ways of performing art in electronic media and other new media. Through analysis to representative cases at home and abroad, the paper elaborates the above problems and finally works out the significance of solo speech performance in the society and on the current performance creation. This paper expects to make creators re-examine the sociability of solo talk performance and urge audience to give more concern and reflection on this problem.
