Baojuan Inheritance And Research In Zhangye Region

Zhangye region is located in the northwestern of Gansu Province, and has given birth to the beautiful folk art treasure- Zhangye Baojuan. However, with the development of time and progress of society, Baojuan cultural that experienced thousands of years of harsh weather baptism, has gradually developed into the predicament of inheritance and development. Lacks of faith, the impact of new media and new ideas have gradually destroyed the soil for Baojuan’s survival and development. In this paper, from the existing forms and heritage overview,(the tradtional Baojuan readers and the cultural psychology of the audience were compared and analyzed, and combined with the impact which general entertainment consumer mentality poses on the human concept in the development of modern society.) the past and the current culture forms of readers and listeners are compared and analyzed, objective research is conducted on the value of Baojuan.(This paper is based specifically on Baojuan transmission and heritage research in Hua Zhai village,Zhangye area,)Targeted and practical solutions and countermeasures are put forward toward the difficulties and problems encountered in the development process of Zhangye Baojuan. Hope the relevant departments and people of vision can conduct the protection and finishing work of Zhangye Baojuan accordingly, giving it a life to heritage and promote in new era.
