| In recent years, with the rapid development of China-Mongolia good-neighborhood relationship, the number of Mongolian students learning and using Chinese language has gradually increased. No matter what kind of foreign language teaching, our goal is to make students master the language itself and the ability to have a foreign language communication. The main goal of teaching Chinese language synonyms is to enable students to master the subtle differences of meaning in Chinese synonyms and collocations differences. It also aims for students to master the ability to use Chinese synonyms in their communication. Chinese scholars have been very concerned about Chinese synonyms research and that’s why its research result are very rich. But from the perspective of research for teaching Chinese as a second language, intermediate level of Mongolian students` learning Chinese synonyms research has not been concerned very well. It is worth to conduct systematic research.The existence of a large number of modern Chinese synonyms, unable Mongolian students to distinguish subtle differences between Chinese synonyms. Mongolian students have a tendency to make mistakes or errors while they choice correct synonyms in their communication. Thus, Chinese synonyms for those Mongolian students who are learning Chinese language are undoubtedly a major learning difficulty. This article conducts investigation and analysis on synonyms for Chinese language teaching on the basis of intermediate level of the Mongolian student because this is the level when students begin to learn and master a large number of Chinese synonyms. And on basis of its results it made suggestions and strategies for teaching Chinese synonyms to intermediate level of Mongolian so that they can improve their ability to distinguish Chinese synonyms. All in all, this article will not only help to improve Mongolian students` Chinese language level, but also help to improve the ability of Mongolian students to distinguish Chinese synonyms.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter describes the research object, topic reason, significance of the topic, research status of "synonyms" definition, and research methods. The second chapter is Bridge—Practical Chinese Textbook(Intermediate level learners)as the study objective, collects all the verbs synonyms, noun synonyms and conjunction synonyms from "Bridge" the textbook and then analyze them. The third chapter includes analysis of the "Bridge" the textbook. In this chapter, we collect adjective synonyms, adverb synonyms and multi-category of speech synonyms. Chapter four gives the results on the intermediate level of Mongolian students in the acquisition of Chinese synonyms by questionnaire statistical data. The results of this analysis let us understand the intermediate level of the Mongolian students’ acquisition of Chinese synonyms, and made suggestions and strategies of teaching Chinese synonyms for Mongolian students. The fifth chapter is the conclusion part, a brief summary of the content and conclusions of the research covered in this part of the article. |
