Chopin is rarely a great artist who pays his whole life on the piano area. Although his works are not much, but each of his works is absolutely exquisite, and also he made great contribution to the piano area. The chopin’s Ballade is the most influential series of his works, and it’s wothy for his reputation of "piano poet". In Chopin’s whole life he wrote four piano Ballade from the year 1831 to 1842, this period is Chopin’s most creative and wonderful years, every Ballade is a brust of inspiration and innovation with abundant plots, it gives people a myriad of thoughts and great shock.Based on the historical background and emotional background of Chopin’s creation, in this work the NO.1 Ballade and NO.2 Ballade are studied in order to play Chopin’s works more accurately and delicately.Not only the musical works but also artworks that are worthy of being researched on, such as poetry, painting, dance, sculpture and so on, represent the author’s thoughts and feelings at present. we are willing to understand the work’s meaning only if we know the historical background and author’s experiences in this period clearly. However, other people can not knew the author’s thoughts exactly, people can only understand the work as his own thought.And this kind of uncertainty is just the charm of art works. According to their experiences, different appreciations have different feelings and thoughts, so different factions appear. As a researcher, one should absorb anything and everyting with modest, rigorous and independent psychology to explore the works.
