Zen Thought And The Practice Study Of Yi Cheng Master

As the President of the Buddhist association of China, YiCheng master is imparted by XuYun master himself who is the Zen leading.Chinese Zen has five factions,YiCheng master carry forward two of them which are LinJi Zen and WeiYang Zen. He has very high prestige in the Buddhism. In theory,YiCheng master has high attainments of Buddhism and Zen,follow the instructions left by the Buddha :”put commandment as the teacher”, adhering to the BaiZhang monastic tules :”farming and Zen are equally important”. In terms of practice,YiCheng master of Buddhism,the cause of Buddhism in the modern society developed to a development road of keeping pace with the times.But the author found that academic circles at China and abroad of YiCheng master study is rare, In addition to monographs published by YiCheng master himself,others studies about him are confined to the Buddhist trace and poem appreciation.Monograph of Zen thought about YiCheng master is zero.Only a few scattered papers,and also lack of paper to YiCheng master`s Zen thought to do a comprehensive system of whole comb,this article is based on the study.The author rely on YiCheng master`s poems and articles to summary and neaten his Zen thought,then inductive a systematic theory.The author study Zen thought of YiCheng master in three parts.The first part is introduce introduction as the point of penetration of study his Zen thought deeply.The second part is start to study the Zen thought of YiCheng master formally,conclusion it in four parts. One is adhering to the BaiZhang monastic tules :farming and Zen are equally important, come up with the concept of “three spare time”; Two is carry forward the doctrine of MaZu master, develop the thought of Buddha is your soul,YiCheng master put forward the thought of no mirage; Three is pay attention to commandment, put commandment as teacher. Four is advocate the study and practice are equally important, adhere to the seven rules of Zen.At last, the author introduce YiCheng master `s contribution of Chinese Buddhist career, summary his important measures to make Chinese Buddhism mix together with the social life.
