On Scheler’s Phenomenology Of Religion

Phenomenology of religion is a branch of phenomenological study, the premise of this study is to understand the phenomenology of religion-related content, such as love, person, the existence of God and religious behavior, and so on. Scheler emphasizes on the doctrine of love throughout his lifetime, he believes that Orders of love is God’s orders, and the core of the world’s order. On the understanding of the Godhead, Scheler tends to show the human spirit by analyzing person, because everyone has different unique person, because everyone is different bit format are unique. In his phenomenology of religion, it is the most important idea that the problem of relation between God’s existence and religious behavior. The existence of God can be given in religious action, which depends on particularity of religious behavior that is different from human ordinary act. God’s self-revelation reveal itself to help people recognizing the existence of God, which is God’s love. At the same time, in response to God’s love, human needs of spirit will be satisfied.
