Vocational identity is an important area of college students’ identity development, the achievement of identity means college students can locating career development based on their career interest, abilities and personality, etc, and be able to actively devote to their career choice and development. This research compiled College Students Vocational Identity Questionnaire in the context of Chinese culture, and examines the current situation of college students’ vocational identity, at the same time, starting from a perspective of the original family and individual future oriented positive expectation, explores the impact of self-differentiation of vocational identity, and the role that hope plays in this relationship.(1) The College Students Vocational Identity Questionnaire has four factors, including career devotion, career volition, career emotion and career target. The College Students Vocational Identity Questionnaire has satisfactory reliability and validity.(2) Undergraduates’ self-differentiation is at a relatively high level, on the factor of the emotional reactivity and the fusion with others, sex difference and major difference are significant.(3) Undergraduates’ hope is at a relatively high level, on the total score of the Undergraduates’ hope and all the factors of the Undergraduates’ hope, grade difference and sex difference are significant.(4) Undergraduates’ vocational identity is at a relatively high level, on the total score of the vocational identity and the factor of the career volition, grade difference is significant; on the factor of the career volition, grade difference and sex difference are significant; on the factor of the career emotion, sex difference is significant; on the factor of the career target, major difference and garde difference are significant.(5) The correlation between every two of the self-differentiation, hope and vocational identity are significantly positive.(6) Undergraduates’ hope is the intermediary variable between the self-differentiation and the vocational identity, which plays an totally intermediary role.
