As a famous contemporary western art circle of painters, Peter Doig dabbled in a variety of painting, including oil painting, watercolor painting, printmaking etc.. In painting, Peter Doig through film and television media access to materials, and these materials were collected and arranged, through their personal picture processing, the paintings show the unique personal artistic style. In Peter Doig’s creation, he loved this type of natural environment there is loneliness character very much, the capture related video material for the creation, the viewfinder to take random way in composition, and use of color and unique meaning, convey the picture behind the solidification time and scenery to the people, make "the memory image" this painting show emotion art complex. The research of this thesis is on the Peter Doig this memory images expression, in order to get a more detailed analysis of Peter Doig’s style of painting, and understand the development of the western image of reality.The main research content is Peter Doig "memory image" picture performance.
