The development of current science and technology and globalization has changed the style and creating model of traditional art, and promotes the birth of the new artistic concept and transmitting channels and helps to form the new trend of art development. New media art, a newly-developed artistic type, marks its birth with the development of computer and internet, which, featured by space-time-transcending, makes new media at different form all the traditional types: New media arts home and abroad come into being at almost the same time and tend to use new techniques for art-creating. The present world situation has witnessed the interaction and communication of different cultural traditions and ideologies. However, the emergence of the new media art along with the increasing mass consciousness of science and technology has evolved into a powerful international trend of the age. In present times seeing the rapid development of science and technology, all the social aspects have been influenced by science, as a result, changes have taken place in aspect of social ideology. Art as a sort of aesthetics ideology is also facing with challenges that never meet before.The present theories suffer from certain defects in studying the new media art from perspectives of communication, aesthetics, humanity and comparison. Therefore, the present scholar intends to focus the new media art on its language features, aesthetic characteristics, cultural circumstance, aesthetic idea and so on with a purpose of developing an alternative perspective for methodologies of artistic history and more insights for the study of the new trend and language system of the new media art.
