Practical Research On The Application Of Mixed Media Painting

With the development of the times and the advancement of the artistic process,the traditional painting creation is unable to satisfy the creation demand of contemporary artists,More and more artists have begun to try to integrate materials into easel painting.This emerging painting language weakens the boundaries between different kinds of paintings,expands the space and freedom of artistic creation,increases the inclusiveness and diversity of expression styles,and makes it more and more widely used in contemporary painting creation.Some artists and professional colleges have also begun to actively carry out relevant exploration and research.The author also made a series of experiments and creations on the comprehensive materials during the postgraduate study,and took the practical research on the application of the comprehensive materials in painting as the research topic of this thesis.This thesis is mainly divided into three chapters to elaborate the material characteristics and creative techniques of comprehensive material painting as well as the author's creative practice.The first chapter is based on the material characteristics of the material itself and the methods used in the creation,combining the use of related materials by some well-known artists,and using this to explain the perception and understanding of the language of comprehensive materials.The second chapter describes the auxiliary research of material experiments based on the needs of subsequent creation,which is also the innovation of this thesis.The third chapter is the process and conclusion of the author's painting practice.
