| Guan Liang made valuable contributions in art, as a representative of the modern wash and figure painting of Peking opera. Meanwhile, he was a modernist oil painter. His paintings showed immature and childish as the main artistic style, which was unique in modern art history. The immature and childish style of Guan Liang’s paintings had significant artistic value and creativity in art of modern and contemporary China. Starting with the main characteristic of the paintings of Guan Liang, this paper tryes to stage and investigate the cause of painting style of Guan Liang synthetically. Besides, the comparisons of the painting style of Guan Liang and other painters are given to highlights his uniqueness. |
