The Oroqen nationality is distributed in the area of Daxinganling and Xiaoxinganling in the northeast of our country, where brave people inhabiting there live by hunting from generation to generation. According to the sixth national census in 2010, there are about 6900 people. Although the population of the Oroqen nationality is small, they have created MoSukun which stands for characteristic folk saying and singing literature of their nationality under many influences, such as long-term life, social customs and habits, the anti-aggression in history, and so on. As pretty precious living fossil in the Oroqen nationality, MoSukun, an age-old literary style, not only reflects the daily life of the Oroqen nationality and hero worship produced under the condition of hunting, but also provides precious materials for the study of saying and singing literature of Tungusic language family of Altai languages in the future, while the latter is more important.This paper consists of introduction, main chapters and conclusion. Of all, the main chapters include five parts.The introduction mainly introduces the collection and record, arrangement, and current study situation of MoSukun.The first chapter is about the outline of MoSukun. By introducing the meaning, historical background and inheritance of MoSukun, we could get the knowledge that where MoSukun come from, and why it names as MoSukun. Its historical background also determines what kind of people its content mainly eulogizes. Its inheritance explains the general situation of the birthland of MoSukun, and introduces the representative figures who have made great efforts to the inheritance of MoSukun.The second chapter is about the plot analysis of GePaQian Hero. This chapter includes four parts, namely hero born in a special way, hero expedition, hero fight and hero marriage. Moreover, making detailed analysis with the example of GePaQian Hero, the most representative one in MoSukun.The third chapter is about the image analysis of GePaQian Hero. The figure’s image is the main line of this paper study. Figure’s appearance features, languages and acts could convey figure’s typicalness. The main images in the article include the male image of Mo Rigen, the female image of the representative of good and evil, supernal image of precious horse and the image of Mani that representes vicious power, all of which are distinctive and attractive.The fourth chapter is about the motif analysis of GePaQian Hero. Narrative motif study play the deepen role in analyzing figure image and story plot. This chapter includes four parts, namely “love story between man and god” represented by the hero GePaQian’s parents, “hero revenge” represented by the hero GePaQian, “Shaman sacred weapon” represented by hero’s weapons and “Mani symbolization” represented by the symbolization of vicious power. Deepening the impression of the story by the four above-mentioned motifs.The last chapter is about the epic value of GePaQian Hero. This chapter include three parts, namely voluminous narrative structure, narrative characteristics combining rhyme and white powder, saying and singing, and the components and value of the epic. This chapter introduces the whole structure of GePaQian Hero, the arrangement combined by rhyme and white powder, the historical significance, divinity, religious and human elements, and the study value of Mo Rigen in many courses, such as history, society, economy, culture, art, language, custom, religion, and so on.The conclusion calls people’s attention to the significance of protecting intangible cultural heritage from the perspective of Mo Rigen, the object of protecting and inheriting intangible cultural heritage. In addition, this part put forward some precious inheritance suggestions.
