| This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction, about the purpose and research topics. Use the perspective of semantic grammar, metaphor theory, metaphorical meanings and other researchs to previous research on Chinese verb senses and sensory verbs in "look". Pointed out the research theory and research method of source language.The second part is the definition and classification of sensory verbs.The third part is the Syntax analysis and Semantic analysis of sensory verbs “lookâ€.Discuss the basic meaning and metaphorical meaning of sensory verbs “lookâ€. Summarize the syntactic function of the sensory verb “look†into two parts.
