Nanchang folk songs plays a very important part in Nanchang folk culture,it is the people of Nanchang are formed in the practice of life long and generate musical art form,Nanchang folk songs are short and simple, which reflected people’s social life from many aspects, and express of working people’s rich thoughts and feelings. Most of its tunes are Nanchang tea picking song or a combination of tones which department handled very skillfully. Its style mainly include folk songs, minor, folk songs, the light songs, work songs.which have the rich flavor of life and local color. Nanchang Tea Picking Opera has experienced 300 years of wind and rain baptism, nowadays, she is facing new challenges. In recorded history, Nanchang tea picking opera originated from Folk Lantern and December flower tea picking song,through the lights drama, the tripod class, won the stage and formed at the end of the Qing Dynasty,It is very popular in Nanchang, Xin jian, Anyi etc,Which has rich regional customs and rich local characteristics.This paper mainly to the singing style and features singing folk songs and Nanchang tea picking drama as the inspection focus, around my directional fieldwork, and cause the related elaboration. The thesis consists of four parts, the first chapter is according to the present research situation of folk songs and Nanchang Caicha opera leads to the source, the topic of research materials, research significance and the theoretical basis and research method. The second chapter from the historical origin and classification of folk song talking about Nanchang starting by giving examples, and then summed up the Nanchang caicha opera and Nanchang folk song’s singing style and the singing characteristics. The third chapter discusses the development history of Nanchang Caicha drama, the origin, formation and the birthplace and through illustrate of the Nanchang Tea Picking Opera singing style and Nanchang Tea Picking Opera singing characteristic. The fourth chapter through the list of Nanchang folk song and Nanchang Caicha drama "Yu wang ment his mother", "The pumpkin" and then summarize Nanchang folk songs and Nanchang Tea Picking Opera’s singing style and the singing characteristics in similarities and differences.
