The Chinese culture which contains thousands years of Chinese people’s history is the soul of our Chinese. One of the chief aims of Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language is to promote and spread Chinese culture. With the reinforcement of cooperation in the economic and cultural fields between China and Vietnam, it increases the boom to China to learn Chinese among Vietnamese Students. Compared with the previous traditional classroom culture teaching, situational teaching method is a more direct, interesting and effective ways of culture teaching. This dissertation tries to explore the application of the cultural education in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language through teaching practice, and the subjects of this essay are some Vietnamese students who study in Guangxi University.This article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is a brief introduction to the paper. It displays the research background, significance, value and the assumptions as well as the innovations to carry out this study. Chapter Ⅱ reviews situational teaching method, constructivism theory and so forth in the light of literature, it is a reorganization of current culture education in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. In Chapter Ⅲ, surveys about the real culture education among Vietnamese students in Guangxi University is provided as an experimental work, and the observations are also carried out to make the research, then a discussion is conducted on the feasibility of current situational teaching method in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. In Chapter IV, the Intermediate Chinese culture classes are taken as the teaching case of situational teaching method for the cultural education in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. A conclusion is made in Chapter V, and the application of situational teaching method for the cultural education in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is also evaluated objectively.
