A Study On Pottery Yan The Pre-Qin Period

The middlesoutheast and southeasteast part of Inner Mongolia has established their own archaeology culture sequence basically during the Pre-Qin Period.Pottery Yan was an quite important utensils during this period.Because of theculture tradition difference of each part,the development of Pottery Yan experienced different stage and has notable characteristic.This article first make a thoroughly collection of excavation briefs and reports on Pottery Yan of the middlesoutheast and southeast part of Inner Mongolia,and then analysis it with archaeology archaeological stratigraphy and typology to study on Pottery Yan and make a research with typology according to the layers of the exeavation and the coexist object on Pottery Yan in the two areas,summarize shape characteristic in difference areas of each stage. The middlesoutheast of Tao Yan was divided into five stages, the southern of Yan was divided into three stages,and compare it with vicinity of the same period. In the zhukaigou culture period and the Lower Xiajiadian Culture period has frequent exchanges around.At last research its origin and relational questions. The middlesoutheast Inner Mongolia pottery Yan has produced locally, while the southeast area was derived from the foreign cultural factors.
