Stuby On The Distribution Of XunTang In Hubei Province In Qing Dynasty

Since 1646A.D.when the Green Banner troops were stationed in Hu Guang Province, there were Green Banner troops in Hubei Province until Late Qing Dynasty. During the time span of 260 years, the Green Banner troops made a great difference in maintaining the stability of the local society in Hubei Province. Xun Tang, as the primary-level organization of Green Banner troops, also had an irreplaceable impact on the stability of the local society. The Qing Dynasty set up Xun Tang system to protect the safety of local society, and the military control network composed by Xun Tang achieved this destination.
