A Report On The Interpreting Of 2014 Cassia Travel Cruise Trip Fair

Since the open and reform strategies put in practice, China’s internationalization sustained to grow and cross-cultural communication happened more and more frequent. Being the wrinkle of the interchange between different countries and culture, translators play a extraordinary role. What is more, the need for interpreters grows progressively. It takes a lot to become an interpreter, not only he needs to master plenty of theoretical knowledge, but also needs to participate in the interpreting practice in order to enhance the processing ability. Before my graduation, I had a part time job at Cassia Travel Agency in order to combine my knowledge with my work and serve the social better. In this report, the author chose a representative interpreting task during my internship. The author described and analyzed this interpreting task in the report. There are three parts in the report. The first part is about the description of the task. The introduction to cruise travel, the practice company---Cassia Travel Agency, and the responsibilities for the interpreter will be shown in this chapter. The second part is the description of the task. The author shows the whole process from three aspects---the preparation,the procedure and the evaluation. The third part mainly concerns interpreting strategies and case analysis. The author listed five strategies which she used in this interpreting process.When comes to the final part, the author gives a whole picture of the interpreting process. At the same time, she shares her first interpreting experience with the readers.
