The Research Of The Writings Of The Qing Dynasty’s Scholar In Guangxi About The History Of The Current Dynasty

The study about the history of the Current Dynasty is an important part of Chinese ancient history research, chronicles official and private have attached great importance to the compilation of the history of the Current Dynasty and this trend was developed to climax during the Ming and Qing dynasties.Qing Dynasty was a period of great development and comprehensive summary of ancient Chinese scholarship. During this part of time, GuangXi’s local history developed considerably, Not only produced a large number of cultural and historical author, but also gain more achievements than any previous era in various fields such as textual aspects of history, epigraphy, genealogy. Among the tremendous GuangXi’s history books wrote in the Qing Dynasty, the achievements of the history of the Current Dynasty is especially stands out which not only reflects the characteristics of the era of the Qing Dynasty historian, but also provided with great geographical features.The first part of this paper reviews the long history of the compilation of the history of the Current Dynasty and then introduce the development and achievements of Guangxi’ historiography in Qing History and the basic overview of the the history of the Current Dynasty’s writings. The second part will select Liangqi Jiang, Mingyu Liu, Jingsong Tang and Binglin Zhao as the representative and make an in-depth research on their writings about the history of the Current Dynasty, mainly relate to introduction of the author, handed version, a book style and content features, etc. to explore the historian concept, historical methods and historical thoughts it might contain. The third part will base on the historical theory to analysis the times and geographical features of the GuangXi’s history in the Current Dynasty from the historical value、writing method and historical thoughts.
