In the broad and profound Chinese culture, food culture has a long history.It includes not only the material level of food raw materials, food production and food consumption and technology, science, art in the process of utilization,but also accommodates the traditional customs, ideology and philosophy, spiritual content which is based on the diet. Therefore, the diet culture can be said to be the epitome of Chinese culture. In addition, the series of television programs "a Bite of China" is a high level of China diet culture documentary, it has caused a renewed focus on the Chinese diet culture and look, and impacted the foreigner’s stereotype to Chinese diet culture. Moreover, the current research on culture teaching in TCFL course is gradually increased, but the research on "a Bite of China" diet culture courses are still less similar by using Literature research and analysis of inductive method.The paper attempts to study on the basis of the relevant theoretical research of curriculum design, curriculum design of culture teaching in TCFL, and diet culture curriculum research, through the introduction of the curriculum, the analysis of teaching object and curriculum resources, determining the curriculum teaching goal and teaching methods, the analysis of curriculum design principles and teaching method, arrangement of curriculum design content and so on, taking the "Chinese Rice Diet Culture" series for instance to design the system of curriculum design.In order to expand food culture teaching Chinese as a foreign language curriculum resources, and make contributions to the development of culture teaching Chinese as a foreign language; Make foreign students expand China’s cultural knowledge though learning Chinese rice diet culture, and experience from daily diet’s connotation and significance of the Chinese diet culture; By targeting "A Bite of China" rice diet culture course as far as possible to promote foreign students interest in Chinese food culture, thus the purpose of spreading Chinese and Chinese culture; In southeast Asian students as the teaching object, through the study of food culture teaching Chinese as a foreign language course, to deepen and consolidate the two region’s cultural identity and to create conditions of cultural exchanges; In order to further explore specific cultural needs of Chinese diet culture teaching.
