| China-ASEAN Forum on Dentistry is jointly held by China and ASEAN countries in the field of oral health, and it also serves as a bridge of China and ASEAN countries for dental service. Nanning is the permanent venue of this forum. With increasing international influence, the Forum has drawn wide attention. Therefore, it’s of vital significance to study the translating texts about the Forum.As a report on C-E translation, this report selects three categories of texts for the Forum as source texts, namely, profiles of the invited dental experts, leader’s speeches and brochure of College of Stomatology, Guangxi Medical University. The report focuses on the translation procedures of the source texts, including the organization of translators, application of translation tools and parallel texts, post-translation proofreading and etc. Moreover, the report adopts translation of words, translation of sentences and translation style as representative examples for case study, aiming at offering valuable reference for translators involved in similar translation practice. |
