The Phonetic Research On Qiu County Dialect Folk Of Hebei Province

Qiu County,which is located in south-central of the North China Plain, sits in the border area of Shandong province、Henan province and Hebei province.Thus gives it a special pronunciation. Qiu County dialect belongs to the Liao-Thai stone tablet of Shi-Ji community of Hebei-Shandong Mandarin dialect area.Contrast with Mandarin system,its way of Combination of initials, finals and tones are so different. And its biggest distinction lies to its tones.At present, the linguistic study of Qiu County Dialect is not enough.There is just a small amount of researches on the aggregation of dialect vocabulary.On the synchronic and diachronic point of view,this paper describes the official dialect phonetic phenomena,basing on a series of field investigation.In order to supply some help to relevant research on Handan area’s dialect,especially give more research stuff on Qiu County and the other surround counties.By means of describing several of the dialect internal phonetics problems,it trys to describe the characteristics of the local dialect,The article mainly contains six parts: introduction,phonetic system of Qiu County dialect,phonetic phenomena of Qiu County dialects,influential factors of Qiu County dialects’ s pronunciation,conclusions and appendix.The first part:the introduction. Qiu County,which is located in south-central of the North China Plain, sits in the border area of Shandong province 、Henan province and Hebei province.The north warm temperate sub-humid continental climate is suitable for its farming.Qiu County has a total of about 250000 people, including the minority nationality:Hui, Manchu, Korean, Miao, Zhuang, Tu, Mongolia, as well as Yao.With a long history, Qiu county,which can be traced back to 2286 BC, renamed several times.Qiu county dialect belongs to the Shi-Ji chat Thai small piece of the Ji-Lu Mandarin.The current academic research on the phenomenon of Qiu county surrounding languages mainly focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Most of researches are in its infancy.At present, the overall study of the Qiu dialect focus on the vocabulary.There are alittle research on the Jian Sound and Tuan Sound.On the view of folklore,the former has carried on the statistics to the aspects of vocabulary and interpretation of Qiu County dialect; The latter carries on the detailed analysis on the dialect of the Jian Sound and Tuan Sound. Both lack of an official dialect phonetic symbol to describe it.And there is no a full and complete system of transcription,and lack of the analysis of an official dialect tone value.Therefore,they have become the main direction in this paper.The article mainly adopts two traditional dialect survey research methods: the case reference to the literature and the way to field survey.It gives a relatively complete description of initials, finals and tones of the dialect and does up the rules of combination of them.At the same time,it analyzes several internal issues of the dialect’s pronunciation.By means of making a complete combination table,the article show up the overall construction of combination of initials, finals and tones to the readers.And then,it provides a wide range of local dialect words, carrying on the definition of phonetic notation to the example words.Finally, the article involves the prose style and symbol of relevant specification.The second part:Qiu County dialect phonetic system research. Firstly,it summarizes the Qiu County’s dialect system and the characteristics of the system to do a simple inductive:Qiu County has a total of 27 initials,most places identify Jian Sound and Tuan Sound, and there is a set of teeth voices in the sound system; there are 40 finals and over a more rhyme:üo than Mandarin. An official voice with a total of four tones, but the tone value is different from Mandarin.The overall tone features : the level tone reads like rising with a middle language, the rising tones sounds like falling, reading a high rising tone;the falling tone sounds like falling and rising. Then it analyzes comparatively the initials, finals,tone value category, and then,it induces the rule of combination of initials, finals and tones.To more briefly, the author also make a set of chart to describe the system,basing on the local language usage with table, and annotates the phonetic phenomena of that significant differ from Mandarin.The third section:some problems about internal of Qiu County dialect.Such as:the phenomenon of different pronunciation between the Written and the Spoken.It summarizes some phonetic change phenomena of Qiu County dialect: Falling off, Assimilation,Combination tone,Partial tone, R-ending retroflexion and Modified tone,ect.And then,it summarize the rule of the Changing tone "啊" and the modulation of the "一" and "不" and partical "的" pronunciation rules in the local dialect tone.Finally,it discuss the issue of affix "的" pronunciation that is used in high frequency in the Qiu County dialect,and point outthat its grammatical function equal to the affix "子" and "着", and its writing is "的" while its pronounce is [t?]/ [tei].The fifth part, conclusion.The last part, the appendix. The article makes a phonetic notation and interpretation of the Qiu County dialect vocabulary.
