| The epic "Jiang Nagel" is a literary masterpiece which illustrates the best of both natural and social sciences of the ancient Mongolians regarding politicsã€economyã€law〠military〠geologyã€medicine〠biology〠architecture〠philosophy〠history〠folk custom〠literature〠sportsã€music and dancing. Therefore, a thorough study of the political view in "Jiang Nagel" reveals great significance to the self-knowledge and development of the Mongolians.This paper offers an overview of the political view in Jiang Nagel. It analyzes the fundamental social unit——family, and describes the development and formation of nation with the emergence of private ownership and hereditary system. It also gives a comment on the formã€functionã€characteristics of the nation.The introductions suggests the current situation in the field of National viewstudy in "Jiang Nagel " and the significance of this research.Chapter one opens with an account of the background which cultivated the National viewin "Jiang Nagel". The society shown in " Jiang Nagel " was a transitional one from clan system to helotism. On the one hand, the advancement of handicraft and tools led to surplus in livestock, which made possible the emergence of private ownership and the gap between the wealthy and the poor. This new situation generated two opposite classes: the ruling class of represented by JIang Nagel and Hong Nagel and the oppressed class of slaves. On the other hand, the Mongolians at the time of Jiang Nagel believed the government to be inviolable and the right of the king to be god-given. The Mongolians upheld government and harmony and respected power, which is given explicit comment in this paper.Chapter two discusses the formation and function of the government in "Jiang Nagel". On the formation of government, this papers emphasizes on the analysis of family as the basis unit of society and the hereditary system. It also describes the "Bomuba " where, as the imperator, "Jiang Nagel " successfully rules his country through dividing his subjects into three parts. On the function of the government, this papers presents a clear picture of how the ruling class led by Jiang Nagel fought against invasion and expended their territory and captured slaves. It also introduces the diligent work of the people in livestock farming for a prosperous and powerful nation. |
