| Recitation is a common study strategy in Teach English as Second Language in China.But it is hardly used in Teach Chinese as Second Language because of the students who are not used to memorizing.That’s why it is difficult to find enough research about this topic.This study does some research on students’attitude to recitation,factors that influence recitation and so on in Teach Chinese as Second Language by means of survey and interviews.Considering the differences of foreign students,"Essay Recitation" is put forward in this research.There are three aspects that are improved in the implement of Essay Recitation:the way to recite, the way teachers mark essay and the way teachers give topics. In addition,some special cases are discussed in this study in order to provide more valuable suggestions and references.We find out that most of the foreign students don’t oppose the saying that "Recitation can improve your Chinese". "Essay Recitation" is different from common recitation.How it works mainly depends on students themselves. There are three main problems when it is used by students:too hard to recite without any hint; language is not acute enough; words and grammars are too easy to improve their Chinese. So we did some adjustments to make it be a better study strategy:recite with notes, correct twice and write with certain words and grammars. |
