In recent years human communication has great changes in technology. Developments in technology influence on process of people communication. Technology is the cause of the extreme changes in communication in the last few decades. It`s obvious that the latest technological developments such as the Internet has a huge influence on everyday communication.Internet language is a new original specific language created in process of internet communication. It also includes metaphors- the main theme of this paper. The analysis of metaphors is a wide research theme in linguistics. It is used to note that because metaphor is a part of everyday communication, it also reflects the way people think.This research is about metaphor in Chinese and Korean internet languages. Through analysis of similarities and differences between most popular internet metaphorical expressions in Chinese and Korean languages this paper also tries to answer questions about mentality of these two nations. This research also involves social and historical factors, lexical, stylistic and grammatical side of creating metaphors. This paper is based on works of G. Lakoff and M. Johnson(authors of book “Metaphors We Live By”), theoreticians of cognitive metaphor. Three-ways comparative analysis of metaphor includes characters, word formation(neologisms), old words with new meanings.Also this research involves mentality and cultural contrasts, what cultural difference cause to internet language differences, reasons of differences in internet languages, polite and modest expressions which native speakers choose in these two languages. The analysis of metaphors in Chinese and Korean internet languages help us understand what the main difference between these two internet metaphorical languages is. Therefore, this work describes differences between Chinese and Korean social psychology, national characters, mentality, culture and how these differences are reflected in the internet languages through the metaphoric expressions.
