The Evoluation Research About Jialize Lake Since Ming And Qing Dynasty(1472-1980)

Jialize lake, it was also named Yanglinze lake, located in the southest of Songming county, Yunnan province,103° 04’ E,25° 16’ N, eighteen kilometers away from Songming county seat and forty five kilometers away from Kunming city. It used to be a great and shallow lake in Yungui plateau in Ming and Qing Dynasty. However, it has been disapeared now and has become pool and rice field.In this article, closen Jialize lake’s history from Chenghua period in Ming Dynasty to the nineteen seventies as a research object, based on Songming’s place names chi, Local Chronicles, old maps In the late Qing Dynasty, modern maps, Digital Elevation Model and other historical documents datum, with the help of other methods, reconstructed Jialize lake’s visage in different times from Chenghua period in Ming Dynasty to the nineteen seventies, more than five hundreds history, and analysed the reason why it changed, at last discussed the means of reconstructing Yungui plateau’s shallow lakes in history period.Basing on Songming’s place names chi, and other local chronicles, poetry anthology, with the help of GIS technology, reestablish Jialize lake’s features about four periods,such as chenghua eight year, chongzhen fourteen year Kangxi period and Yongzheng period, and also analyze the reason about Jialize lake’s change.Basing on old maps new maps and record in the late Qing Dynasty and The republic of China, with the help of DEM date, reestablish Jialize lake’s features about four periods,such as Guangxu period, the 1920 s, the 1930 s, the 1940 s, and also analyze the reason why Jialize lake was steadyied in this period.Basing on the record in The archives of Songming city, with the help of modern local chronicles, GIS technology, reestablish Jialize lake’s features about two periods, such as the year of 1952, the year of 1968, and also analyse the reason why Jialize lake disappeared fast.At last,we analyze the reason about Jialize lake’s change by Ming dynasty, as a case, we discuss the means to reestablish shallow lakes in Yungui plateau by Ming dynasty.
