A Study On Archaistic Ceramics Of Song And Yuan Dynasties

In Song and Yuan dynasties,with the increasing amount of antiquities found, the study of antiquity started to form. The study was used to reform the old sacrificial vessels when the authority was involved in. The civilian sacrificial vessels also changed with the movement on the base of its old systems, and the reform was used to consolidate the local force in the period of Southern Song to Yuan dynasty.This paper classify the archaistic ceramics of Song and Yuan dynasties totally, and discuss the problems of their ages, locations, productions, types, source of shape and functions. This paper also discuss the cultural reason of reformation of sacrificial vessels.
