Nature amazes us humans with its infinite variety, just the same as the changes of space do. That’s why there is no way for artists to make an exact copy of our great nature at all times, even though the ancient Greek philosophers insisted that artists were bound to reproduce nature in an artistic way.To be more specific, the reason why artists cannot 100% depict nature is the knowledge limitation of of layering and intervals. People ’ s mastering knowledge of layering an intervals is surely not equal to nature itself. Thus, artists have to try generalizing the infinite layering and intervals of nature within their limited perspectives during producing works of art. Furthermore, to bring the subjective initiative into the targeted induction and distribution is also one of the most important things that we can do about art expression.Apparently we always match those related stuffs in nature and give them certain relations and then do the induction and distribution. This thesis mainly focuses on what is the The Induction of Picture layering and Distribution. On one hand, in the process of drawing, we need to induce and distribute different layering and pay attention to therelationships between the stuffs that we depict. On the other hand, we are supposed not to be restricted and limited in art expression by the relationships that they have in real life.We can follow our anticipatory pursuit and create a bunch of unique works. This thesis intends to employ 4 chapters to discuss the problems of induction and distribution of layering. What exactly induction and distribution of layering is, how to arrange and balance the paining and the conclusion of the influence by the art work practice are all going to be covered. The basic contents are as follows:Introduction demonstrates the inspiration and source of this theses and the summary of documents. The first chapter analyzes what the induction of layering is in terms of lightness, color hue and color purity. The second chapter explains what the distribution of layering is and illustrates6 different types of distribution. Each type’s analysis makes up one paragraph. The third chapter is about the analysis of the induction and distribution of layering of watercolor painting at home and abroad. The last chapter shows how the theory of induction and distribution of layering impacts me and it’s also attached with two works of art, a landscapepainting and a figure painting.Learning from their experience, artists have strong personal consciousness about dimensional objects. They use induction and distribution of layering to put their ideas on the paintings. We are supposed to explore further since a group of pioneers and masters left us enormous accomplishment and achievement. Artists gave up the battle with photographers because they want to highlight vigor of humans’ value via induction and distribution of objects. I sincerely hope that I would be greatly inspired in watercolor landscape sketch paintings during this research.
