The history of the Dong people recording Dong language with Chinese characters can be traced back to the early Ming Dynasty or beyond.Due to various social and historical reasons,there are not many early documents handed down till now,and most of them are texts after the founding of New China.Remembering Dong pronunciation in Chinese characters is a creation of Dong people’s writing,which is the result of cultural exchange between Dong and Han.This kind of writing has strong vitality and is still popular among the people today.Remembering Dong tones in Chinese characters is just a way to remember Dong tones,but how? What characters are used to memorize what Dong pronunciation? How do you read it? Wait.As history goes on,patterns emerge.In the past,due to the inability to memorize Dong pronunciation in Chinese characters,no one paid much attention to it,and few people could read the accumulated folk literature.Today,as the country pays attention to the cultural heritage of ethnic minorities,especially the rescue,protection,collation and utilization of ancient books and documents of ethnic minorities,the collation of ancient books and documents of Dong people’s Chinese characters recording and pronunciation has attracted more and more attention from the academic circle.To study the memorization of Dong people’s Chinese characters and summarize the rules is of great significance for the reading and collation of ancient books and documents of Dong people’s.Since there was no standard tone in the Dong language in the past,the writing of Dong tones in Chinese characters was all written as local tone,and the characters selected by different dialects were naturally different.Therefore,it is difficult to summarize the general rule of writing the Dong tones in Chinese characters.This paper chooses "Answer on Altar" which is popular in the north of Liping as the research object,mainly based on two considerations.First,the text is the book of ritual offering of Dong ethnic group,and it is a standard to copy.Second,although it was copied in the Ming Dynasty,the content is quite old,and it is also the earliest text of remembering Dong tones in Chinese characters collected so far.In this paper,through the systematic study of the method of remembering Dong pronunciation in the Chinese characters in the text,the statistics of its characters,the general rules of the pronunciation and pronunciation are summarized.This paper analyzes the characters with multiple sounds,multiple characters with one sound,and common characters in the text,unifies the characters with the same phonetic meaning,and sorts out the arrangement style of ancient texts with the original text of remembering Dong dialect in Chinese,the transliteration,literal translation and free translation of newly created Dong language.In addition to the introduction and summary,the thesis is divided into four parts.The introduction mainly reviews the research status of ethnic minority languages recorded by Chinese characters,and explains the purpose and significance of the research as well as the sources of the materials.The first chapter introduces the source and use of the text,the culture and language environment of the spreading place.The second chapter analyzes and summarizes the pronunciation recording methods and characteristics through the statistics and classification of the words used in the text.The third chapter mainly analyzes and explains the homophone,homophone and common words in the text.The fourth chapter uses the method of ethnic ancient books to reclassify,arrange and translate the text.
