On Li-Zishu

Li-Zishu who is a "legend" in Malaysia literary field. She has won several literary awards spend trace, also swept the Bingxin’s World Literature Prize, the United Daily News Literary Award, Times Literary Award, Asia Week Chinese Hong Kong Top Ten novels and many other honors, known as the Malaysian female literary writing top. She has long been in short stories in Chinese literary circles unique. Li works fine deep, the fickle nature, light and dark meet, strong image sensor, has the exclusive tropical wet and hot breath in her fiction.Li-Zishu as the most grassroots of" genuine Malaysian writers’representatives, which has its own unique creation. Ten years of writing in her career, she tasted the creation of poetry, short stories, micro fiction, essays, novels and even other kinds of writting. Li-Zishu’s creation was first published at the beginning when she got her 1st literary prize,the exercise on creative writing and a lot of micro fiction, and converge her talent in her travel period, finally completed her maturity long novel.Therefore, this thesis will combined 1990’s Malaysia Chinese literary background between their literary creation and literary context of the entire with Li-Zishu. This thesis will also follow Li-Zishu’s creation, as well as its stylistic changes as a major staging themed boundaries to further her literary career is divided into four periods.Text reading this thesis will have to sort out creative ways to change Li-Zishu’s literary career in four different stages, including (a) from 1994 to 2001, that is, its short stories and prose shine on track to spend Literary Award until she published "Mountain plague " and" Heaven’s Gate " during the two collections of short stories, writing the main characteristics of the Nanyang/ tropical strokes and magical writing; (b) from 2002 to 2006, that is, a lot of writing and steering column creation of micro fiction period, mainly writing features for the sarcasm and discrete consciousness; (c) 2006-2010, namely prose during her travelling in the different places, writing features include a memory writing and diary writing; (d) 2010-2011 that her first long novel writing, writing mainly about symbol of history and her natural color writing.Li-Zishu’s four different period creation are discussed below, each style change exploration on her creation, and the main theme reflects the creation of each period. Meanwhile, this paper will further elaborate its different stages of the creation of various genres of literary writing features and attitude change, exploration meaning behind the words from her writing style.
