Creative With The Community To The Modern And Contemporary Dance Dance In Combination With The Practice To Explore

This paper mainly introduces the author’s practical experience of creating community dance works with modern/contemporary dance concepts and techniques. It provides the author’s understanding about present community dance culture and the possibility of integrating modern/contemporary choreography with community dance; and introduces how to realize this integration from four aspects: the theme, the content, the dance language and visual presentation, in the choreography practice of the author. This article also talks about the conditions of this integration according to the author’s practice. In the conclusion it summarizes the value of the creative practice from three aspects.
