Study purpose: moral judgment means a person judge oneself or others, including the behavior or features. How people will make decision in the real life? Is there any differences if the offender were self、friends、strangers, and what are the factors etc. The study is going to discuss is there any difference when the undergraduates judge self or friends or others and how is the temporal feature by the ERP, on the bases of Construal Level Theory.Study method: The subjects are from the university in Hunan and 20 s in total. There are two kinds of stimulus, one is priming stimulus, including self 、 friends and strangers name, which are provided by the subjects; one is target stimulus from including moral and unmoral words, each 30 s and all the words will be used twice randomly.Study results: From the P2 stage,we can see that the EEG amplitude of the moral judgment are different in the self、friends and strangers conditions. The difference between the moral and unmoral words are edge significantly, we can see that the EEG amplitude of the moral words are higher than the unmoral words; From the N2 stage, we can see that the EEG amplitude of the moral judgment are different in the self 、 friends and strangers conditions, the EEG amplitude of selfstimulus are higher than the friends-stimulus; From the P3 stage, we can see that the EEG amplitude of the moral judgment are different in the self 、 friends and strangers conditions, the EEG amplitude of selfstimulus are higher than the friends-stimulus.Study conclusion: The difference of the EEG amplitude in the self/friends and strangers conditions are significantly when the undergraduates make decisions. In the ERP, the P3 stage means an advanced cognitive component, it is an index that how the individuals notice the other thing or other people which are relevant. P3 reflects the how the individuals give attention to the others, the higher the EEG amplitude, the more attention they give to the others. According to the Construal Level Theory, the social distance will influence the cognitive style when the individuals make decisions. On the P3 stage, the EEG amplitude are higher when the individuals make decisions in the selfstimulus compared with the friends-stimulus, because the individuals pay more attention to the self –name compared with friends name and stranger name.
