Still Life And Intentions Of Watercolor Painting

Many people paint and create the still life when they start to learn drawing, but then they do not paint the still life anymore. They also think the content of the still life is "death" and it cannot express the artist’s feelings. However, the still life covered a wide range. It could paint a lot of content and have a rich genre. This is the biggest characteristic of the still life. The tool materials of the watercolor have a lot in common with that of the Chinese painting. For this reason, when the watercolor painting develops in China, more people would like to pursue the artistic conception of the pictures. A still life painting can not only reflect the painting forms and painting styles in different times, but also it can reflect the feelings and thoughts or aesthetic consciousness of the painters.The sketch, creation and appreciation of the watercolor still life are the important means to improve accomplishment of the painters. Therefore, this paper focus on how to reflect the big extent reached of art through the still life. When the painters begin sketching, they will feel the sketch objects, so the pictures capture their sensibility. When the painters begin creating, they will motivate their own passions, so the still life expresses their emotions. When the painters appreciate the art works, they will broaden their horizon and promote their border of art through the excellent works.As for this writing, I carried on the material collection at the first time, and then tidied the materials, prepared the paper, adapted and modified the contents at last. In this paper, using references analyzing and examples analyzing methods did preliminarily studied. Based on collecting and organizing the master’s art works, the paper mainly introduces the watercolor painting works at home and abroad, analyzes and researches the practical cases, and collects the related references at home and abroad to illustrate my points.
