Light use and performance in Chinese watercolor painting is a gradual development and improvement process. From the early or simply not being taken seriously as a means of simple auxiliary shape today, light and shadow in Chinese watercolor painting has had a very important value and role. It works not only as the expression of many objects, and in some works, it has become the soul of the screen. My BuTuo figure paintings is to use light and performance. Butuo Yi people of their traditional culture and support is admirable, they also keep the original ancestor of life, simplicity of ethnic nature so that they always live in nature, in harmony with nature, which is deep deeply attracted me. Butuo Yi people’s rough and honest and peculiar appearance attracted me to continue writing, I will be the relationship between man and nature as a starting point, make full use of the light changes and the relationship between man and the environment, a series of works in the Yi stick BuTuo cordial, simple, real, natural style, to express their true feelings, which is in line with my overall experience BuTuo Yi people.
