Research On The Relationship Of "Language-Image" In MV Of Chinese Mainland

As a visual communication pattern of the song, MV (Music Video) is a typical case of audio-visual integrated form in the image ages. In the early 1990s, MV was brought in Chinese mainland as imported goods. Up to now, MV has experienced stages of introduction, spread, localization, diversification and other development stage. In the trend of dominance of visual interpretation, network media and image consumption, MV gradually becomes a distinctive cultural phenomenon, which merits our attention. With the nature of consumption attribute, MV also has significant aesthetic characteristics. MV is an audio-visual integrated art. The aesthetic value of MV usually depends on its objective effect of the combination of language and image.On perspective of creation, the visual design of MV in Chinese mainland obeys the general rule of MV creation. Take the song creation based on visual images for example, the feature of song is critical for MV visual images which have basic features of fragmentization, illogicality and the use of imagery symbols. In terms of MV works, there are certain rules for the combination of audio song and visual images, including the relationship between language and image in film and television art forms, the distinctive combination of language and image which is different from the text-image relations in films and television works. The diversified MV works have different mode of the combination of language and image. This article tries to classify and analyze MV works from synchronous diagram, situational decoration and parallel language and image. Then, the article does deep research on MV from the perspective of the relationship between language and image. Also, the article focuses on discussing different works with different aesthetic value under these three different modes of the combination of language and image.In addition, this article also pays attention to the uneven development trend of different modes of the combination of language and image under the different stages. Then, the article explores the causes for this trend. With these factors, the article presents the historical development of MV in Chinese mainland to judge the commodity property of MV in Chinese mainland. The article affirms the diversified development trend of MV in Chinese mainland. The second section analyzes the introduction, spread, localization of MV in Chinese mainland.The second chapter consists of two sections. The first section analyzes the laws of the song creation. The second section points out the essential characteristics of the MV images, which depends on the creation of the song.The third chapter consists of three sections, analyzing different mode of the combination of language and image. The first section analyzes the synchronous diagram mode followed by analyzing and judging MV works of this mode. The second section analyzes the situational decoration mode followed by analyzing and judging MV works of this mode. The third section analyzes the parallel language and image mode followed by analyzing and judging MV works of this mode.The further discussion pays attention to the uneven development trend of different modes of the combination of language and image under the different stages in order to showing the development trend of the whole trade of the MV works of Chinese mainland.The conclusion part summarizes the article, points out that MV has return to goods attribute in Chinese mainland and definite the diversified development of MV in Chinese mainland.
