| Ibsen is a poet who has a profound understanding and strong pursuit of the poets’ mission and value. He emphasizes to self review, and emphasizes on the fusion of poets and the era. A vast spirit world exists In his poems, which contains three aspects:visiting the inner world; pursing ideal life and reflecting on the past life; observing the nation and the world. This paper will focus on the text, combining the theory of psychoanalysis and history of Norwegian, Ibsen’s biography and other related knowledge to analyze the spirit world and spirit forms of Ibsen in Ibsen’s poetry and further explore the gains and of losses in his creation, the relation between the gains and losses and Ibsen’s poetic concept.This paper is divided into three parts:an introduction, main body and a conclusion.The introduction is the first part which mainly presents the phenomenon of "a spirit world and spirit forms of Ibsen in Ibsen’s poems", analyzes the research status of Ibsen’s poems, and introduces the main content and relevant concept, innovation and research methods in this paper.The main body is the second part, which is made up of four chapters. The first chapter analyzes the exhibition of inner world in Ibsen’s poems, which contains two aspects, one is the experience on the real world:mood in love, binary thinking on love and marriage and the dream world to fill the gap between the ideal and reality; the other one is the renunciation to the evil and dark in the depths of soul and the pursuit of perfect morality. In these poems Ibsen’s spirit form has two characteristics:the limitation and panoramic view of his subjective spirit. The second chapter analyzes pursuit of the ideal life of Ibsen who wins more firm belief of life after suffering the pain from life. The pursuit contains two aspects:nobility in spirit and poetic life. The third chapter focuses on poems "on The Heights" and "Terje Vigen". In these poems, Ibsen shows two types of life:pursuing spiritual freedom or cherishing the happiness of secular life. The conflict of these two kinds of life shows the inner world of Ibsen. In these poems Ibsen’s subjective spirit has been moderated. Some poems have symbolic implications. The fourth chapter analyzes Ibsen’s observation of the nation and world in Ibsen’s poems. In these poems Ibsen’s subjective spirit is weak or missing.The third part is the conclusion of this paper, which summarizes three dimensions of spirit world of Ibsen in his poems:visiting the inner world in the early stage; reflecting on the past life in the middle stage; observing the nation and world in the later stage. Then the paper summarizes three forms of Ibsen’s subjective spirit, the gains and of losses in his creation and the relation between the gains and losses and Ibsen’s poetic concept. |
